The site is part of a development in the heart of Moscow. The design is composed of two towers rising almost 500m each on a platform raised above Moscow river.
The form is triangular in plan. It tapers outwards as it goes up from the ground and inwards above the middle support. That creates different plans for each floor with a different area. The form is based on the abstraction of an iceberg that is unique to the northern seas of Russia.
The towers are connected with a conference center sphere hovering in between. The entrance foyer extends 124m above ground level. The first 29 floors are hanging from the middle support inside the entrance atrium. The building will look like a chandelier at night reminiscent of the Orient. The envelope of the building is composed of a double skin reinforced glass layers.
