Husam Akoud is an architect who graduated from the University of Khartoum in 1987 with a Bachelor of Architecture and has earned his Master’s in Architecture from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 1998.
Mr. Akoud is a licensed architect. Mr. Akoud has worked in different architectural firms around the world in Sudan, Dubai and New York. He is a member of several architectural organizations, such as the International Union of Architects (UIA), the Sudanese Society of Architects, the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA).
Mr. Akoud founded TS&W Architects in 2003 in Washington, DC. The firm is focusing on providing a vast array of Architectural services such as ARCHITECTURAL PROGRAMMING, PROJECT MANAGEMENT, MASTER PLANNING, SCHEMATIC DESIGN, DESIGN DEVELOPMENT AND CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION.
